XLPE insulated power cables have excellent thermal-mechanical properties, excellent electrical properties and chemical corrosion resistance, and also have the advantages of simple structure, light weight, and laying without drop restrictions. They are widely used in urban power grids, mines and Novelty cables from the factory.
Cable insulation-cross-linked polyethylene is to use chemical and physical methods to convert polyethylene with a linear molecular structure into a cross-linked polyethylene with a three-dimensional network structure, thereby greatly improving the thermomechanical properties of polyethylene, thereby maintaining excellent electrical performance.
The maximum rated operating temperature of XLPE insulated power cable conductors is 90°C, which is higher than that of PVC insulated and PE insulated cables, so the carrying capacity of the cables is further improved.
